How To Take A Vacation
Mark 6: 30 Then the apostles gathered to Jesus and told Him all things, both what they had done and what they had taught.31 And He said to them, "Come aside by yourselves to a deserted place and rest a while." For there were many coming and going, and they did not even have time to eat.32 So they departed to a deserted place in the boat by themselves.

What "ironic" timing. I am currently attempting to plan a retreat to avoid ministry burnout. Maybe I should've started sooner, because I can hardly make any decisions! (Sign A & B that I need a vacation.)
And thanks for the reminder of the kinds of behavior that gets us worn out in the first place!

Church planting and taking a vacation seems to be on the opposite ends of reality. Help me Jesus!!!

Great post! Very practical. I believe it was you who taught me: "If the devil can't get you bad...he'll get you busy."
Thanks again for who you are!
