Happy New Year!

Joshua 1:6-9 (NKJV)
6 Be strong and of good courage, for to this people you shall divide as an inheritance the land which I swore to their fathers to give them.
7 Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go.
8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."

Dear Papa, thanks for the message. Joshua has always been one of my favorite persons of the OT. We will definitely need to be strong and courageous in these following days. Isn't it funny how no matter how you boil it down, it always comes down to believing and DOING the Word. Your family picture and CAM letter gave Joan and I tears. Give Teresa a hug. Love always, Ken and Joan G.

HAPPY New Year L.A. and Teressa!

Enjoyed the passages from Joshua.
This morning I was reading the same chapters and later on was impressed that when the priest held the Ark of the Covenant while standing IN the Jordan, the flow was held back and their feet were planted on DRY ground. I thought how appropriate for us to be reminded that when we are in DEEP water to remain in the presence of God and then our feet will be firmly planted on DRY ground! Thanks for the years of service to us way back in the beginning!
Bless you and your family will all the tools necessary to continue to bless those you are with!
